The concept of Take Charge Fitness took shape in the fall of 2016 while I was enrolled in a class called Exercise Prescription for Special Populations. I did some research and found that many of the fitness centers in the Jonesboro Ar was designed for those that were healthy. My thought was to offer the same experience to those with chronic treatable conditions in a safe and supervised environment. Later, when I did my internship, I was assigned to work in a program called Rock Steady Boxing. This program solidified the dream of opening a facility that helps those Take Charge of their health.
